Champion (Chair level): $500,000 ‐ $1 million
Chair level donations will support 10 California local district teams with technical assistance to implement computer science education in their school district. This level sponsorship will help support the development, dissemination and education for a tool kit specifically designed for school administrators to implement equitable, sustainable computer science education at the local level. Donors will have the opportunity to contribute branded merchandise to school leaders for swag bags and recognition on website as well as all social media campaign promotions (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, etc.).
Problem Solver (Host): $100,000 ‐ $499,000
Host level donations will support the development of a strategic communications plan to amplify the importance of computer science education equity in California. Donors will have the opportunity to contribute branded merchandise and recognition on website as well as all social media campaign promotions (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, etc.).
Algorithmic Thinker (Benefactor): $50,000 – $99,000
Benefactor level donations will support a public engagement Computer Science Education Summit in California to inform and broaden our coalition. Donors will have the opportunity to contribute branded merchandise and recognition on website as well as all social media campaign promotions (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, etc.). Benefactor level donations will be recognized on summit event materials.
Collaborator (Supporter): $25,000 ‐ $49,999
Supporter level donations will fund the development of a major social media presence including interactive website tracking progress toward our goals of CSforCA. Donors will have the opportunity to contribute branded merchandise and recognition on website as well as all social media campaign promotions (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, etc.).
Organizer (Friend): $15,000 ‐ $24,999
Friend level donations will support the community organizing efforts to build capacity among families, teachers and students to advocate for CS in local schools. This will include the use of research, translated in usable forms for presentations at teacher conferences, non-‐profit organizations and STEM community events across the state. This level sponsorship will have the opportunity to contribute branded merchandise and recognition on website as well as all social media campaign promotions (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, etc.).
Paired Programmer (Buddy)
CSforCA recognizes that everyone has different means and ways of contributing to CSforCA. We welcome partnerships and gifts of any amount from individual parents, teachers, students and community members. CSforCA relies on financial gifts from corporations and foundations to sustain the equitable growth and expansion of computer science in California.
